![]() If you guys have any ideas all help is appreciated as I was really hoping to play Fallout tonight. The game is being backed up from my hard drive so it doesnt. All of the game files are in "depotcache" files right now so I'm hoping that Steam will still be able to recognize that it is Fallout 4, but I do not know how or if I can get it to do that. This video shows how to backup and restore a game in steam and i will be using Team Fortress 2. Now I am getting worried because I have read some people saying that you cannot copy a pre-loaded game, instead you have to wait till it comes out. From there I was planning on just copying the files into my C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common folder and then discovering the files through Steam, but when I go to install the game after copying the files Steam doesn't do the usual discovering existing content that it usually does. My DL speed is 100KB/s so it is not practical for me to download the game, so I took it to my girlfriend's house who has faster internet and downloaded it onto my external hard drive. ![]() I am wanting to know if it is possible to transfer a game that I pre-loaded (Fallout 4) from my external hard drive to my SSD or HDD in my pc. Hey guys so I need some help on this one. ![]()
