What I like about PixelCNC is that it's pretty much the opposite. It comes with an increased level of complexity and larger learning curve that I always felt was patently masochistic for typical CNC router projects. Most people using Fusion 360 to make signs and CNC art are doing so with a DIY flimsy 3-axis CNC router while it's designed and intended to generate toolpaths for the burly professional precision CNC machines out there costing as much as a car. If you know your CAM basics (cut step over, cut depth, RPM, feed rate, and so on) and there's a way to run windows programs on Mac like how Linux has WINE for running them then I'd suggest checking out PixelCNC which is geared towards the more artistic side of CNC instead of the professional manufacturing side, which is what Fusion 360 is and ironically what everyone is always recommending in spite of its limited capacity for doing non-manufacturing-centric artistic stuff.
